Short version: the free calculators run in your browser and set no cookies. We store data only if you subscribe to rule-change alerts or create an account to track your trading accounts.

Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is Gergő Kökényesi (private individual, Hungary). Contact: hello@propruleguard.com.
What happens when you use the calculators
The daily results you type and the statements you import (MT5 or cTrader files) are processed only in your browser. They are not uploaded to us or anyone else, and they are gone when you close the page.
What we collect
- Server logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and request details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don't use these logs to identify you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without building a profile of you. Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding which pages are useful.
- Outdated-rule reports. If you use the "Spotted something out of date?" form, we store your message, the page you sent it from and the time. We don't ask for your name or email. We delete reports within 12 months of handling them. Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the rules accurate.
- Your account (Pro and free sign-in). If you sign in, we store your email address, your Google account ID if you use Google sign-in, your sessions, the trading accounts you add (firm, program, size), the daily profit and loss we derive from the statements you import or from cTrader, and your billing status. Statement files themselves are read in your browser; only daily totals reach us. Legal basis: performing our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b)). We keep this until you delete your account, which you can do at any time under Billing; deletion is immediate.
- Alert channels. If you connect Telegram, Discord or browser notifications, we store the chat ID, webhook URL or push subscription needed to deliver your alerts, and remove it when you disconnect.
- cTrader connection. If you connect cTrader, we store an encrypted, read-only access token and read your balance and closed deals for the linked accounts every few minutes. We can't place or change trades. You can revoke access in your cTrader ID settings at any time.
- Payments. Creem processes Pro payments as merchant of record and receives your payment details directly; we never see card numbers. We receive your customer and subscription IDs and the period you've paid for.
- Rule-change alerts. If you subscribe, we store your email address, the firms you chose, and when you confirmed. We send only the alerts you asked for, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. We delete your address when you unsubscribe, and unconfirmed sign-ups after 7 days. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
Cookies
We don't use tracking cookies. When you sign in we set one strictly necessary session cookie (and a short-lived one during Google or cTrader sign-in), which doesn't need consent. Fonts are served from our own domain, not from a third party.
