How consistency rules work

Most prop firms compare your best trading day with your total profit. If one day makes up more than the allowed share (for example 40% or 50%), you either can't pass or can't request a payout until you've earned more on other days. The required total is best day ÷ limit: with a $1,500 best day and a 40% rule you need $3,750 in total profit.

The details differ by firm: some count only winning days, some compare with the profit target instead, some treat exactly the limit as a breach, and some raise your profit target instead of blocking you. The calculator applies each firm's own variant; the firm pages show the exact wording and sources.
