End-of-day vs intraday trailing drawdown

An end-of-day trailing drawdown moves up only with your closing balance, so intraday swings don't raise it — but it is still enforced in real time. An intraday trailing drawdown follows your highest balance including open profit, so a winning trade that reverses can tighten it. Many firms stop trailing once the limit reaches your starting balance (or start + $100).
